Staff			Wakae Maruyama, Ph.D.
			The president and the chief risk analyst.
			She graduated from a college of pharmacy and worked for a pharmaceutical company and a hospital as a researcher and a pharmacist.
			Having finished graduate school and acquired Ph.D. in phaemaceutical sciences, she worked temporarily as a postdoctoral fellowship at RIKEN and Yokohama National University (YNU) in Japan.
			She learned computer simulation and basic concept of risk assessment using PBPK model at YNU.
			After have worked as a researcher at National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), she established Risk Analysis Laboratory.
			Maruyama's study focuses on the method for quantifying health risk to human population and actual risk assessment using the method. She uses biological data and mathematical models for risk analysis, especially PBPK models are used to convert animal data to human data.
